Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson cancel appearances at Twilight conventions

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have cancelled their appearances at the upcoming Twilight conventions.

The Twilight stars were due to promote the movies at four official conventions but they have now decided not to appear amid the heightened interest in their personal lives.

And it's no wonder as fans will no doubt be itching to see them after it was revealed Kristen Stewart had an affair behind Robert Pattinson's back with her Snow White director Rupert Sanders.
Their co-star Taylor Lautner has also dropped out, probably wanting to avoid any questions about his pals' love lives too!

A statement from Creation Entertainment reads: "The passion and dedication of Twilight fandom has been amazing and we're out to throw one last giant convention, a final gathering to see old friends that have made up the Twilight family.
"Although Rob, Kristen and Taylor will not be with us this time out we will have a super line-up of other Twilight stars and the weekend will be filled with special events, movie prop and costume displays, contests, panels, auctions, parties, exclusive merchandise, music and much more, including some surprises!"

Pretty disappointed all the same, boo....
