Kristen Stewart cancels appearance at On The Road premiere because she's 'too ashamed'

Kristen Stewart has cancelled her appearance at the On The Road premiere in London next week.
The Twilight star is said to be "too ashamed" to show up on the red carpet following her affair with director Rupert Sanders behind Robert Pattinson's back.

Kristen Stewart is due to appear at the promotional event next Thursday but has now axed her appearance as she can't bear to show her face.
And it's thought she is even less keen to attend as Pattinson's best mate (and Sienna Miller's babby daddy) Tom Sturridge, who co-stars in the film, is slated to go.

A source told RadarOnline: "Kristen won’t be doing the red carpet for On The Road, she’s too ashamed to show her face in public right now.

"After everything that has been said, and in light of the revelations that she cheated on Robert with director Rupert Sanders, she’s running scared at the moment.
"There’s also the dilemma of standing next to her co-star Tom Sturridge. He’s very close to Rob and Kristen thinks it would be awkward for her to promote the movie on the red carpet alongside him."

Meanwhile, Robert is said to be going ahead with a TV interview and premiere for his movie Cosmopolis next week.

All eyes on Rob then...
