Kristen Stewart is said to have pulled out of a TV awards ceremony she was due to present with Robert Pattinson.
The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn former couple were due to appear at the MTV Video Music Awards next month to present an award.
But Kristen Stewart,
who was also noticeably absent from the UK premiere of On The Road last
night, is reportedly heading to the Toronto International Film Festival
instead.
Kristen's appearance with Robert Pattinson
at the LA awards ceremony was due to be the first time the couple had
appeared together in public since she admitted to cheating on him with
her Snow White and The Huntsman director Rupert Sanders.
A source for the awards told The Mirror: "Bosses were hoping that Kristen and Robert would surprise guests before this scandal blew up.
"The idea was for them to jointly present awards…but that has been changed."
Rob, who is currently promoting his new movie Cosmopolis, has kept tight-lipped about the cheating scandal in recent interviews.
In an interview with Showbiz Tonight, the heartthrob told a interviewer he was "OK" when she probed about how he was feeling.
